So far so good... I've got my Etsy store up and running, scheduled my first online course that I will be teaching, and I now have a facebook fan page!

*Whew* I'm exhausted... and now all I have to do is keep it up. I recently made the very overdue decision to focus on my art more and to really organize what I have and to encourage myself into creating MORE.

You will see that I have uploaded a few older pieces just now and I hope it doesn't bother those that have already seen it. I am just trying my best to round out my gallery. Most of you that have met up with me at conventions will know that these have needed to be uploaded a looooooog time ago *hides in shame*.

Anyways, looking forward to meeting more people this year so don't be afraid to comment, critique, or drop a note.

A lost cause

It seems that whenever I get the ball rolling, I run into a brick wall.
After another eventful year and only two... yes, ONLY two conventions, I am exhausted.
I apologize to all those out there that are waiting on commissions. I promise that I have not forgotten you. I will get to your art pieces in the order that I received your requests. Those of you that know me, already know that I organize my life sort of like a mad scientist... obsessively prioritizing the most unproductive tasks, and then scrambling to create masterpieces. For this I am sorry. Anyways, despite the solemn mood and undying stress... I'm okay. I hope.

Recovering from WonderCon 08

Well after a long weekend in San Francisco, I am still trying to get back on track.  This was our first year attending WonderCon and it was better than expected.  We were pleasantly surprised... although both Ian and I becoming sick before the show was not so great.  It seems like everyone is coming down with something these days.  

But regardless of that setback we managed to meet a lot of great people, do a lot of commissions, and make some money.  The Furoku Culture team is off to a good start this year.  Our next event is WizardWorld LA, this will be our third year attending and we hope to continue what has been a very good tradition so far.  We try and make it to all the SoCal conventions and we hope to produce two manga books in print and to restart our online manga this year.  

Many aspirations... so little time.  Maybe I should find a way to get our website back online first.
*sigh* wish me luck...

okay... so my word of the day is "speanuts" (fobbish way of pronouncing spinach).
LMFAO!!! Hahahaha.... well, i guess if you're not pinoy you wont get the whole joke, but its funny anyways.  
So i am finally updating my journal today... long ago it has been since i have placed anything new on my devart site.

:: Furoku Culture :: has been hard at work trying to make a living... we work our day jobs and freelance to make $$ in order to bring more art to our fans and so we can have a presence at the next big convention.  We recently finished Wizard World Los Angeles and now we are preparing for Anime Expo 2007 @ the Long Beach Convention Center!
We are planning to have a booth at the small press area and we want to see YOU there! ^_^

We have so much fun at conventions, and I just wanna give a shout out to all of my new buddies that I met at WWLA!... You know who you are... and I love YOU!! ^_^

Check out all my new art that i will be posting (in increments) all this week... hahaha i am lazy after all.
